Heated Rivalry (Game Changers Book 2) Starting with something:

Apart from being a very outstanding professional hockey player, Shane Hollander has a perfect name. Hockey is his life; now that he is captain of the Montreal Voyageurs, he won’t let anything upset him—especially not the handsome Russian player who keeps him awake at night.

Ilya Rozanov, the Boston Bears’ captain, is everything Shane lacks. Declared the king of the ice, he radiates confidence in accordance with his abilities. Not one person can top him—except Shane. Though their well-known rivalry has affected their careers, off the rink their attraction is undeniable. Ilya has to leave as he realizes he wants more than just sneaky hooking. Simply too large is the risk.

Their need intensifies and they struggle to retain their link under cover of darkness. Should someone discover, it might ruin both of them. Keeping their romance under wraps is no longer a decision; instead, their need for one another drives their ambition on the ice.

Readers give this book( Heated Rivalry Book2) what rating?

I now find myself drawn to MM romance. Though not as much as this one, I have liked a few! I start to randomly consider the characters throughout my day. For Rozanov, reading the speech with a Russian accent was intriguing; his sarcasm is unmatched. I chuckled loudly at his one-liners of modest scale. The story in the book was significantly better even if it was very hot. That their relationship was not rushed made me happy. I sensed it growing naturally. It was not very sweet, and nothing about it felt driven. Although I was on the edge of my seat waiting for it, I was glad there was no significant dramatic “caught ya” event. The second reading was considerably more enjoyable knowing nothing terrible was going to happen. My major complaint is that I wanted more. I could almost follow a story about their everyday marriage.

Years of merely meeting in hotel rooms or an apartment Shane keeps exclusively for that reason; their connection grows and there are all these amazing indicators that things are changing, even if their feelings confuse them and they fear what they mean. Two weeks later they are at Shane’s cabin; I think my heart enlarged three sizes. The open-ended “happily ever after,” closing, really delighted me. Though they are not in public, they are reaching their goal. Even if their situation made one depressed, it appeared real and honest from life. From Ilya’s point of view especially, the last thirty percent of the book made me laugh out loud a lot. Still, this story drives a lot of emotions and causes great tension. It really transported me, and I will be thinking about it for quite a long time.

Recreading February 2024 is: stayed late finishing the book; I knew nothing about what would happen.maybe 2023 Re-reading: I value Shane and Ilya’s assistance in controlling my hockey impulses.December 21, 202-based Re-read: Be ready as the audiobook was pretty popular. Still, reading Shane and Ilya makes me extremely happy. Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander are at the top of the hockey world, hence a little competition is never bad for them to keep progressing. Always in the Hart Trophy running field, they are constant all-stars, picked first and second overall by the Boston Bears and Montreal Voyageurs. They hate each other as well. They cannot, however, stay separate from one another. Secret meetings when their teams play one other and extended stretches of silence have set apart their more than ten-year careers. But for now, it’s just hooking.

I read this book shortly after it was released and since then I find myself continuously reminded of how brilliant and polished Shane and Ilya are both personally and as a couple. It caught me even more intriguing and adorable on the second reading. And it implies something about the depth of this story as well. I HIGHLY advocate reading the full series instead of considering Heated Rivalry and The Long Game as a duology as I did not enjoy the first book, even if all of them might be considered as standalones. Ilya Rozanov has developed into a rather amazing character during the series. Beautiful, insightful sprinkle of a very amazing man. Marsh!

about Books

To Catch a Firefly
Like trying to draw a unicorn, it is hard to adequately depict the amazing beauty of this love story.
Red, White & Royal Blue(Book)
Red, White & Royal Blue turned out to be somewhat more funny than I had expected by combining a great mix of political satire and humor.
God of Fury (Legacy of Gods Book 5)
verything was written in such a wonderful manner, the banter, the laughter, the ups and downs, the love.
Confetti Hearts (Confetti Hitched Book 1)
Joe wonderfully nails the clever and snarky core that Lily Morton's characters are known for.
Bouquets & Belonging (Heartcraft Market Book 4)
Bouquets & Belonging. Marley makes appearances in previous tales
Their Wicked Ways (Crimson Club Book 6)
Willow Dixon has once again wrought magic with another brilliant book and series. The Crimson Club series represents a total riot.
